Crafted by the vagaries of the wind, sand dunes can take many forms. Some form linear ridges, others undulate in gentle crescents. In profile, Lou Henry's Dune brings to mind the horizon line of the latter. Each slender handle rests on the table at it's pointed tip, lifts gracefully, dips to the neck and rises again. From above, the handles stretch ridge-like long and straight, the fork tines thin and elegant, and the knife blade practically invisible due to it's cutting edge vertical stance.
