French Grey Salt (Sel Gris) is from the second harvesting and gets its color and minerals from the clay at the bottom of the salt ponds. This unrelined natural salt is rich in nutrients, magnesium and other minerals. To create the fine grain, the coarse salt is dried and stone ground. French Grey Salt makes an excellent finishing salt, especially for traditional French, Spanish and ltalian dishes.
